hyderabad:the exhibition of nizamjewellery has been extended indefinitely by the salar jung museum authoritiesuntil further orders from the ministry of culture, government of india. thejewellery exhibition would be continued probably throughout this summer, thoughan exact time frame has not been decided, salar jung museum director a k v sreddy told the times of india on friday. he said the decision to extend theexhibition indefinitely until further orders was taken at the 15th board meetingof salar jung museum on friday. since the beginning of the jewellery exhibitionon november 25 last, the museum has accrued a profit of about rs 86 lakh throughthe sale of tickets and about rs 28 lakh through the sale of replicas andsouvenirs, amounting to a profit of more than rs 1 crore, he said. thoughpresently the response remains poor due to school examinations, the responsewould be high after april 15, he said. reddy said the best season would be aprilto june when more than 12,000 people are expected to visit the museum on a day.
