Hyderabad: The state govt awarded medals for distinguished service and bravery on the occasion of the New Year to 630 police personnel.
The highest medal, TG Mukhyamantri Sarvonnata Police Pathakam with Rs 5 lakh cash grant, was awarded to intelligence SI Manish Kumar Lakhani for his distinguished long-time services in the intelligence department.

Shourya Pathakam was awarded to seven cops, including Mulugu DSP N Ravinder, intelligence inspector G Thirupathi, Grey Hounds SP J Raghavender Reddy, assistant assault commander J Ravi, junior commandoes AV Sudhakar and B Nandulal, mainly for bravery while performing anti-left-wing extremism work and Nalgonda CCS head constable G Vishnu Vardhan for his bravery while arresting two members of the armed Parthi gang in the Hyderabad outskirts in July 2024.
Mahonnatha Seva Pathakam was awarded to 16 cops, including Nizamabad SI S Santhosh Reddy, Karimnagar additional DCPs M Bheem Rao and P Venkata Ramana, Warangal ACP A Madhusudhan, Cyberabad additional DCP S Ravi Kumar and RSI G Ashok, Intelligence for their dedicated long-term service.
Uttama Seva Pathakam was awarded to 94 cops, Katina Seva Pathakam to 53 and Seva Pathakam to 459 cops for their services.
