Shivraj distributes Rs 1250 to Ladlis six days before due date

INDORE: CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Wednesday distributed the fifth monthly installment of Rs 1,250 to the beneficiaries of Ladli Behna Yojana in Burhanpur, six days ahed of the due date of 10th of every month as the model code of conduct is likely to come into effect in next few days.
“Mahila shashktikaran ki awaz hu, main Shivraj hu (I am the voice of women empowerment - I am Shivraj,” the CM said at a public meeting.

He distributed the monthly financial assistance of Rs 1,597 crore to 1.31 crore women. He also inaugurated and laid foundation stone for as many as 45 works of development worth about Rs 400 crore. “If you want me to continue all these schemes, will you support me,” he said.
BJP general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya, who has been fielded from Indore-I assembly constituency, on Wednesday claimed that the party has planned bigger responsibility for him than the post of MLA.
