A couple travelling with two kids were killed when their car was hit by a truck in Laxmangarh police station area of Sikar district on Monday morning.

JAIPUR: A couple travelling with two kids were killed when their car was hit by a truck in Laxmangarh police station area of Sikar district on Monday morning.
Police said Karam Veer (35), his wife Renu (32), their daughter Prachi (2) and their nephew Kartik (5) were trapped inside the car that was badly mangled after the collision. They were on their way to Salasar Balaji temple in Churu from Hisar in Haryana when the accident took place on NH-65 at 9am.

“It was a nasty collision as the car was badly squeezed and all the four passengers in it were trapped inside. Some locals intimated us about the accident after it caused a traffic jam on the highway,” said an officer of Laxmangarh police station.
Police arrived on the scene with a rescue team carrying gadgets and metal cutters. “The four occupants of the car were pulled out and rushed to hospital, where they were declared brought dead. Karamveer works as a bouncer in Hisar and had left for Salasar Balaji temple in Churu from there with his wife and the two children on Sunday evening,” the officer added.
