Kidney racket: 2 more arrested in Kanpur
Times News NetworkKanpur: Police arrested two more accused from a gang involved in buying, selling and transplanting kidneys. The accused included an OT technician, Saifuddin, a resident of Bahraich, and Akhilesh Tiwari, a resident of Chakeri.Saifuddin revealed that he facilitated four transplants in Kanpur. For this, Rohit, who is lodged in jail, used to pay him and Akhilesh Rs 50,000-50,000 each. A total of 13 accused in the kidney scandal have so far been sent to jail.
