Stray dogs found dead: Police begin probe

Kottayam: Police have launched a probe into the incident of stray dogs being found dead on the premises of Payalkulangara Sree Devi Temple at Ambalappuzha in Alappuzha. On Monday, four dogs were found dead, while two others were found in a critical condition. It is suspected that the dogs were poisoned.Residents buried the carcasses. The rescued dogs are reported to be in stable condition.According to residents, the area has been grappling with stray dog menace.
