Tajinder Pal Bagga Arrest Case: HC directs no coercive action against BJP leader till next date of hearing

The Punjab and Haryana HC has directed the Punjab government not to take any coercive action against BJP leader Tajinder Pal Bagga till next date of hearing. In the wake of BJP leader Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga expressing fear about his safety, the Delhi Police on Saturday said it will make necessary security arrangements for him.On Friday, the Punjab police arrested Bagga from his residence in Delhi's Janakpuri, but the city police here brought him back to the capital from Haryana, saying its Punjab counterpart did not inform it about the arrest. I said yesterday, in view of & in execution of search warrants issued by competent court of law in Delhi, we had taken Bagga into our custody&taken him to Delhi. His medical examination was conducted he was produced in court. The court released him & allowed him to go home, the ASG said. (ANI)

Tajinder Bagga case: Acted on 'kidnapping' message from Delhi Police, Haryana tells court

The Haryana government in a written statement before the Punjab and Haryana high court has said that it was acting on a message of 'kidnapping' from Delhi Police in the Tajinder Bagga case.The status report filed by Anshu Singla, SP Kurukshetra details the sequence of events from Friday, and denies that Haryana Police had detained the Punjab Police personnel who were taking Bagga to Mohali from Delhi.
