A high-profile man behind CMO murder?

LUCKNOW: There is a growing belief among those following the Dr BP Singh murder case that the mastermind behind the killing could be a high-profile person whom investigators are afraid to lay their hands on.Though it is too early to say anything with finality, the fact, that the investigators have not been able to reach any conclusion about the motive and the mastermind in both Dr BP Singh and his predecessor Dr Vinod Kumar Arya’s murder cases, points towards the involvement of a high-profile person.DIG DK Thakur, while talking to TOI, did admitthat all aspects, including that of a high-profile mastermind, were being lookedinto. However, no link has been established till now in this regard.CMO (family welfare) Dr BP Singh was sprayed with bullets while hewas on morning walk in Vishesh Khand locality on April 2. Dr Arya was killed inthe similar manner in Vikasnagar on October 27.Investigators privyto the probe into Dr Singh murder case said: “Several embezzlement andloopholes have been found at the CMO (family welfare) department in statecapital, however, none could be linked to the murder of either Dr Singh or DrArya.”
