Kavi sammelan, mushaira held in Uttar Pradesh

LUCKNOW: A kavi sammelan and mushaira held at UP Sangeet Natak Akademi on Saturday provided the audience an opportunity to witness the literary side of the administrative/police officials and doctors.
Organised by Kamyaini group, the event saw 11 professionals of different fields reciting poems on topics like comedy, satire, romance and courage. The participants, included two doctors - director SPM Civil Hospital Dr Anand Ojha and in-charge KGMU Trauma Centre Prof Sandeep Tiwari.

Three IAS officers - Hari Om, Pawan Kumar and Akhilesh Mishra - and three PCS officers Manish Shukla, Bhawana Srivastava and Rakesh Toofan along with officials Ashutosh Pandey, Mukul Mahan and Dharmaraj Upadhyay participated in the event.
Separately, a mushaira on national unity was organised by UP Urdu Akademi at its auditorium.
