3 held for murder

MANGALORE: DK rural police in a swift action nabbed three persons accused of murdering Vishwanath Moolya (45), a murder accused at Belthangady on Wednesday. The accused are Sunish Kumar Jain (28) of Melanthabettu, Prakash (22) of Thenkakaranduru, and Vitesh Kumar Jain (28) of Padangady. They were nabbed by a police team headed by Puttur rural circle police inspector K Manjaiah based on information relayed to police.
Belthangady police who have registered a case of murder said the main accused in this case, Sunish, targeted Vishwanath Moolya as the latter had allegedly murdered his father, Dhanya Kumar, around five years back."Sunish wanted to avenge his father's murder," Belthangady police said. The accused brazenly attacked the victim with sharp-edged weapons in a hotel in the town, police added.
