Watch: 24-year-old driver of BMW booked for rash driving on Mumbai's coastal road

MUMBAI: The Worli police on Monday booked the 24-year-old driver of a BMW, Rishabh Aneja, for rash, negligent and dangerous driving, and endangering the life and safety of others after a video of the speeding car's accident on the coastal road went viral.

The BMW car was seen speeding on the coastal road from south to northbound. It overtook a vehicle and went at a high speed.

When the driver applied brakes, the car jumped to another lane in the same carriageway and dashed against the rail of the coastal road, getting severely damaged.

Ravindra Katkar, senior inspector, said they registered an FIR and will take further legal action against Aneja, a Juhu resident.
