As coronavirus cases are once again on an alarming rise in Mumbai as well as the whole of Maharashtra, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray declared a night curfew across the state, which came into effect from Sunday. Section 144
The state government has issued prohibitory orders under section 144 of the CrPC in which gathering of more than five people will not be allowed in the state from 8 pm to 7 am. Almost 7000 cases in Mumbai
Mumbai recorded the biggest single-day spike in new coronavirus cases on Sunday with the financial capital recording over 6,900 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours. The city reported eight deaths and 6923 new COVID-19 cases today. The total number of positive cases in Mumbai now stands at 3,98,674, according to information received by Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).
