Mysuru: A section of school students, who had left private institutes and joined government schools owing to Covid-induced financial challenges of their parents, are now returning to private schools, according to school managements.
Fr Sebastian, the principal of Christ School inThandavapura claimed four of their students who migrated to government schools after the outbreak of the pandemic, have returned.

in Siddarthanagar, two students are back from the government schools.
Adding to this, heads of the two schools said that they received fresh admissions from the students of government schools as they want to pursue education in English medium.
Meanwhile, many students, who migrated to tier II towns after the pandemic are also returning to the city schools with their parents finding jobs back here.

, are now are back, with their parents finding new jobs in the city.
“Companies in which their parents were working were closed or they were forced to move out of urban areas following Covid outbreak. With the companies starting normal operations, children are back to city schools,” he stated.

said the admissions in government schools are in progress and the response is good. To a query, he replied: “I am not aware about students from government schools are returning to private schools.”
“We may get a clear picture after June 1 as the admission process is on,” said an education department official..
