Time to unite for alumni

MYSORE: It's that time of the year when the alumni of the Mysore Medical College meet. Mysore Medical College Alumni Association (MAA) will host MAA Utsav-2010 on Saturday that will also include scientific deliberations.
MAA president Dr C Rajan on Wednesday said some 9,000 students have passed out of the institution since it started about a century ago.The annual get-together will felicitate 20 senior doctors for their service to the community. Forest minister C H Vijayashankar will inaugurate.
Dr Kolar N Murthy from the US will make presentation on traumatic brain injuries. Two other alumni — Dr A V Srinivas Murthy and Dr H N Ramaprakash — both practising in the US will make presentations.
