Mufti Ahmad Raza tops from night schools in Nagpur; Taj Baba Night Jr College ranks first

Nagpur: With 72.33%, Mufti Ahmad Raza of Shivaji Night School was the top-scorer among night school students in the city in the HSC examination. Taj Baba Night Junior College of Arts & Commerce, Mominpura, secured the first position among night junior colleges with an overall pass rate of 74%.The next top scorers among night school students were Syed Nashit Husain Mirahmed Hussan Arif of Taj Baba Night Junior College with 68.83% and Mufti Mustanseer Quraishi of Shivaji Night School with 68.67%.The results highlight the perseverance and dedication of night school students, many of whom manage education alongside work and family responsibilities. Among other institutions, Nagpur Night Junior College, Mahal, registered 56.25% result; Shri Shivaji Night Junior College, Sevasadan, 52%; Arts & Commerce Night Junior College, Mahal, 51.8%; Narendra Night Junior College, Siraspeth, 50%; and Jawahar Night Junior College, Sitabuldi, 35%.At Taj Baba Night Junior College, the top students were Syed Nashit Husain Mirahmed Hussan Arif with 68.83%, Samiya Firdous with 65%, and Rehan Ahmad Kalim Ahmad with 64.50%. In the Commerce stream, Sarbaj Alam Mohd Sartaj scored 59.17%, followed by Arbaz Khan Ayyub Khan with 56.17% and Arif Sheikh Mohammad Zakir Sheikh with 55.50%.Nagpur Night Junior College, Mahal, recorded 52.77% in Arts, 60.71% in Commerce. In Arts, Aruna Athor led with 52.67%, followed by Shraddha Khobragade with 51.67% and Rekha Shende with 50.67%. In Commerce, Nirmala Hedau was the top scorer with 56.17%, followed by Laxmikant Bhanarkar with 50.67% and Sachin Nikode with 47.67%.Besides Mufti Ahmad Raza, standout students from Shivaji Night School included Mufti Mustanseer Quraishi with 68.67%, and Maulana Danish with 67.17%.
