Woman dies, 2 injured as car rams divider near underpass in Noida
Noida: A woman died and two others were critically injured after their car lost control and crashed into a divider near the Sector 71 underpass in the early hours of Thursday.Police received information about the accident around 1am. The occupants of the car were employees of ICICI Bank in Delhi, identified as Gulfisha, a resident of Koharapir in Bareilly; Murtaza Abbas, a resident of Johri Farm, Jamia Nagar; and Anushka Chaudhary, a resident of Dhauli Pyau in Mathura.

Police said the Skoda car was heading towards Greater Noida West when it went out of control near the Baba Balaknath Temple, hit the divider and overturned. All three occupants sustained injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital. Doctors declared Gulfisha dead during treatmentt, while the other two were found to be in critical condition and were referred to a hospital in Delhi. Police informed the families, who later reached the hospital. An autopsy was conducted on the deceased, after which the body was handed over to the family.Police said injured man and woman will be questioned after their condition improves to ascertain the circumstances leading to the accident. The matter is under investigation, police said.
