Officials briefed on VB-G RAM (G) scheme
Patna: Patna deputy development commissioner on Tuesday briefed MGNREGA personnel at Vikas Bhavan on the VB-G RAM (G) scheme, which raises the employment guarantee from 100 to 125 days. The scheme prioritises water conservation, rural infrastructure, livelihood generation and disaster management works. Officials were directed to widely publicise the programme and implement Centre-sponsored activities effectively. Reviewing MGNREGA progress, the DDC ordered completion of all pending projects before the fiscal year ends and instructed staff to promptly upload vouchers on the NREGA Soft portal. The meeting was attended by the NEP director, engineers and programme officers.
