Seven injured in car crash against Chhattisgarh forest minister's bungalow

Chhattisgarh forest minister's guard including a couple and four others were severely injured when the two cars they were travelling in crashed at Shankar Nagar breaking the wall of minister's bungalow on intervening night of Saturday.

RAIPUR: Chhattisgarh forest minister's guard including a couple and four others were severely injured when the two cars they were travelling in crashed at Shankar Nagar breaking the wall of minister's bungalow on intervening night of Saturday.
The collision was so intense that the chauffer of one car had to be pulled out from the car seat he got stuck into.

According to police, while all the seven were undergoing treatment at government and private hospitals, their condition was out of danger.
Suspecting over-speeding on the isolated road at Shankar Nagar post midnight, both the cars Verna and Honda city collided right in front of forest minister Mahesh Gagda's bungalow.
Breaking the wall of bungalow the car had hit guard's room injuring the guard leaving him shocked with the thud.
The cars bearing numbers CG 07 AU 3007 and MH 31 CR 3045 belonged to a family at Gayatri Nagar and those injured were Ankit Kesarwani, Wasim Raja, Anurag Tiwari and Giriraj while a couple returning from Nagpur and constable deployed as guard at forest minister's bungalow Anup Kumar Yadav also sustained injuries.

According to eye witnesses, the collision was so intense that after the crash another car went and hit the divider damaging both the cars badly.
Meanwhile, Civil Lines police said that no case has been lodged yet as there was no complaint registered from either of the side.
