State artists pay homage to Husain

RANCHI: Artists' fraternity in the state paid homage to M F Hussain. A condolence meeting was organized at residence of painter Dinesh Singh in Morhabadi where artistes like Amitabh Mukherjee, Ramanuj Shekhar and Vinod Ranjan congregated to pay tribute to the 95-year-old painter.
Ranjan said despite being drawn into a controversy Hussain had never lost his spirit of quenching the thirst of expression on canvas.
"India and artists' fraternity have suffered irreparable loss in form of Hussain," he said.
