He expressed his wishes for Andhra Pradesh to progress with the blessings of Goddess Kanaka Durga.

It was a long-standing tradition for Chandrababu to visit the temple on New Year's Day, a practice he followed during his tenure as chief minister from 2014 to 2019.

This year, Vedic scholars extended a special invitation to him, performing elaborate rituals and offering Vedic blessings in the temple mandapam.

Speaking on the occasion, Chandrababu said, “I prayed to Kanaka Durga for the prosperity and happiness of the Telugu people in 2025. The energy and determination of the state’s youth give me confidence in Andhra Pradesh’s bright future.”

He emphasised his belief that with Durgamma’s blessings, the state would advance on the path of development.
