Vijayawada: Chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu released the first constituency rankings on Monday. The performance of MLAs was assessed on various performance indicators and given rankings. As per the report read out in the meeting with ministers and principal secretaries, 21 constituencies received A+ ranking, 153 were in the A category, while only one constituency was in B category.
Two constituencies from Vijayawada found a place among the top-performing constituencies. Vijayawada West, represented by BJP MLA Sujana Chowdary, scored 93 out of 100 points, which was the highest among all. Vijayawada East constituency, represented by Gadde Rammohan, stood in fourth position.

Gajuwaka constituency in Visakhapatnam, represented by TDP state president Palla Srinivasa Rao, and Kakinada city constituency, represented by Vanamadi Venkateswara Rao, shared second place with 92 points. Vijayawada East, Hindupur, Penukonda, Kadiri, Visakhapatnam West, Madugula, Pithapuram, Ramachandrapuram, Jaggampeta, and Gopalapuram (SC) were among the other constituencies that scored 91 and were graded A+.
While Pawan Kalyan's Pithapuram found a place in the top 10 best-performing constituencies, Kuppam and Mangalagiri, represented by chief minister Naidu and IT and HRD minister Nara Lokesh, respectively, did not find a place in the A+ category.
At the lower end of the table, five constituencies were identified as bottom performers with scores below 80. Kondapi (SC) recorded a score of 79, followed by Kandukur and Kavali with 78 each, Ongole with 77, and Guntur West with 73. While Kondapi, Kandukur, Kavali, and Ongole were graded ‘A', Guntur West received a ‘B' grade.
The grading system classifies performance into four categories — Excellent (A+) for scores above 90, Good (A) for scores between 75 and 89, Moderate (B) for scores between 50 and 74, and Poor (C) for scores below 50.
