Tirupati: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) administration said that it achieved a new milestone by facilitating
darshan to 87,689 devotees at the Tirumala temple on May 22 — the highest-ever recorded on a Friday in the temple’s history.
According to TTD, this 'fantastic Friday' feat was achieved despite the heavy rush and hectic schedule of temple rituals, through meticulous coordination, planning, and special arrangements.
The Tirupati trust also credited itself with another achievement of providing darshan during the Abhisheka Seva at the Tirumala temple to 5,850 common devotees, fulfilling their once-in-a-lifetime dream.
In view of the summer vacation rush, all TTD departments are working in close coordination to ensure that pilgrims did not face any inconvenience and had a smooth darshan.
