One more Vande Bharat from Vizag
New Vande Bharat train schedule released
The Railway Authorities have released the schedule for the new Vande Bharat train (20829/30) running between Durg and Vizag six days a week, except Thursdays. Departing from Durg at 5.45 am and arriving in Vizag at 1.45 pm, it returns from Vizag at 2.50 pm to reach Durg by 10.50 pm.
Hubballi-Pune Vande Bharat train to run thrice a week
Elected officials from Kolhapur, Sangli, and Satara districts are against diverting the Hubballi-Pune Vande Bharat train to Kolhapur. In response, the Railway Board will run the train three days a week between Hubballi-Pune and three days between Kolhapur-Pune. Union minister Pralhad Joshi endorsed this decision.
Vande Bharat trains carried over 3cr passengers till Aug 20
Launched in February 2019, Vande Bharat Express has completed over 35,428 trips and carried more than 3.17 crore passengers. Covering more than 280 districts across 24 states and Union territories, these semi-high-speed trains offer advanced safety features and comfort amenities, representing India's goal for a modern rail system under the Make in India initiative.
