The Industrial Development Bank of India (IDBI Bank) has started the online registration process for Junior Assistant Manager (JAM) Grade ‘O’ recruitment 2026–27. Eligible candidates can apply through the official website idbi.bank.in.
The bank has announced 1,100 vacancies for the Junior Assistant Manager post across different zones in India. The recruitment will be done through an online application process followed by a selection procedure that includes an online test and interview.
According to the official notification, the online registration and fee payment process will remain open from March 8 to March 19, 2026.
The online examination is scheduled to be held on April 12, 2026 in the morning session. Candidates are advised to regularly check the bank’s website for updates related to the recruitment process.
IDBI Bank has announced 1100 tentative vacancies for the Junior Assistant Manager Grade ‘O’ position across several zones including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, and others.
Among the zones, Delhi and Mumbai have the highest number of vacancies with 130 posts each.
The vacancies are provisional and the bank may modify or reduce the number of posts depending on its requirements.
Candidates applying for the post must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university.
The minimum marks required are:
The minimum age limit is 20 years and the maximum age limit is 25 years as on March 1, 2026. Candidates must have been born between March 2, 2001 and March 1, 2006 (both dates inclusive).
The recruitment process will include the following stages:
The online examination will consist of 200 questions for 200 marks and the total exam duration will be 120 minutes. The exam will include sections on reasoning and data analysis, English language, quantitative aptitude, and general or banking awareness.
Candidates who qualify in the online test will be called for the personal interview, which carries 100 marks. The final merit list will be prepared using a combined score of the online test and interview.
Selected candidates will join as Grade ‘O’ officers. The compensation at the time of joining will range between ₹6.14 lakh and ₹6.50 lakh per year (Cost to Company basis) in a Class A city.
The appointment will be on one year probation from the date of joining. Officers may be considered for promotion to Grade ‘A’ after completing three years of service, depending on performance and availability of vacancies.
