TBSE result 2026: Class 10 Madhyamik pass percentage stands at 84.18%; Gomati tops among districts
The Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) has declared the Madhyamik Class 10 and Higher Secondary (HS) Class 12 results 2026 today, May 8, at around 12:15 PM. Students who appeared for the examinations can check and download their scorecards from the official website, tbresults.tripura.gov.in.
This year, a total of 32,184 students appeared for the TBSE Madhyamik examination. Out of them, 27,094 students passed, taking the overall pass percentage to 84.18%.
According to the result abstract released by the board, female candidates outnumbered male students in the examination. A total of 17,415 girls appeared for the exam compared to 14,769 boys. The gender ratio stood at 1,179 females per 1,000 males.
Among the districts, Gomati recorded the highest pass percentage at 89.07%. Sepahijala followed with 88.58%, while South Tripura recorded 87.03%. Dhalai registered the lowest pass percentage at 72.60%.
West Tripura had the highest number of candidates appearing for the examination at 6,538, followed by Sepahijala with 4,511 students.
In the subdivision-wise performance list, Karbook emerged as the top-performing subdivision with a pass percentage of 97.91%. Jampuijala secured the second position with 97.48%, while Udaipur recorded 91.61%. Gandacherra reported the lowest pass percentage at 68.81%.
The board data also showed that the largest number of students secured C2 grade marks in the overall grade distribution. A total of 10,380 candidates scored between 40% and 49.99%. Another 5,232 students secured C1 grades with marks between 50% and 59.99%.
Only 87 students scored A1 grade with 90% and above marks, while 618 students secured A2 grades between 80% and 89.99%.
The TBSE Class 10 examinations were conducted from February 26 to March 24, 2026. The Higher Secondary examinations were held from February 25 to March 30.

Female candidates outnumber boys
Gomati records highest district-wise pass percentage
Among the districts, Gomati recorded the highest pass percentage at 89.07%. Sepahijala followed with 88.58%, while South Tripura recorded 87.03%. Dhalai registered the lowest pass percentage at 72.60%.
West Tripura had the highest number of candidates appearing for the examination at 6,538, followed by Sepahijala with 4,511 students.
Karbook tops subdivision-wise performance
In the subdivision-wise performance list, Karbook emerged as the top-performing subdivision with a pass percentage of 97.91%. Jampuijala secured the second position with 97.48%, while Udaipur recorded 91.61%. Gandacherra reported the lowest pass percentage at 68.81%.

- Visit the official website at tbresults.tripura.gov.in
- Click on the TBSE Madhyamik Result 2026 link
- Enter roll number and registration number
- Submit the details
- The scorecard will appear on the screen
- Download and save the result for future use
