UPSSSC Lekhpal PET result 2026: The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has officially released the Preliminary Eligibility Test 2025 (PET 2025) result for the Lekhpal recruitment examination. Candidates who appeared for PET 2025 can now check and download their scorecards from the official website upsssc.gov.in.
According to the official notification, the result has been declared under Advertisement No. 02-Examination/2025, related to the Lekhpal Main Examination (P.A.O./A.O.-2025)/01. The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill a total of 7,994 vacant posts of Revenue Lekhpal under the control of the Revenue Council, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow.
The commission has clarified that candidates who appeared in PET 2025 and obtained actual (absolute) scores or normalized scores were considered for shortlisting. Wherever applicable, the higher of the two scores was taken into account. The result has been prepared strictly on the basis of normalized scores to ensure fairness across different exam shifts.
As per the rules, candidates were shortlisted in the ratio of 15 times the total number of vacancies, including all candidates who secured equal cut-off marks in their respective categories. Based on this calculation, the commission has recommended 3,66,712 candidates for the Lekhpal Main Examination.
The cut-off marks and results of all shortlisted candidates have been uploaded on the official website on 26 February 2026. Candidates are advised to note that the date of the Lekhpal Main Examination will be announced separately through a fresh notice on the commission’s website.
