WBBSE Madhyamik Result 2024 Live Updates: Amidst much anticipation, the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has unveiled the results for the Madhyamik 10th examinations 2024. With an overall pass percentage soaring to an impressive 86.31%, students, parents, and educators across the state are celebrating this significant achievement.

Notably, a staggering 1,18,411 students have excelled, securing the prestigious first division. This constitutes an impressive 12.98% of the total students who appeared for the examination, reflecting the dedication and commitment of the student community.

Furthermore, the WBBSE announced that the examination results for 46 candidates have been withheld, while the exams for an additional 2 candidates have been canceled. These cases will undergo further review and assessment, ensuring fairness and integrity in the examination process.

In another significant development, the results reveal a notable increase in the number of female candidates appearing for the Madhyamik 10th examinations. Out of a total of 9.10 lakh students who appeared for the exam, 5.08 lakh were female candidates, highlighting a positive trend in gender representation in the academic sphere.

The results also spotlight individual achievements, with notable performances from top scorers across the state. Chandrachur Sen from Rambhola High School, Cooch Behar, emerged as the topper with an outstanding score of 693, securing an impressive 99%. Following closely are Soumyopriyo Guru from Purulia Zila School and Udayan Prasad from Balurghat High School, who secured the second and third positions respectively, with scores of 692 and 691.
