Bhupesh Kaka asleep, Chhattisgarh district now love jihad hub: Amit Shah

RAIPUR: Union home minister Amit Shah alleged on Wednesday that Chhattisgarh's Bemetara has become a hub of "love jihad". "OBC daughters are becoming targets as Bhupesh Kaka's government is sleeping," he said. Shah held election rallies in Saja, Janjgir-Champa and Korba on the final day of campaigning.
"Today is the birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda. This is the day Prime Minister Narendra Modi has named Adivasi Gaurav Diwas and began the tradition of celebrating it.I pay my tribute to the great freedom fighter," he said.
"In the first phase of the Chhattisgarh election, Bhupesh Kaka has been wiped out and the lotus is sure to bloom. Today, I was told by a journalist that even bookies have started saying that the Baghel government, which is involved in betting, is not going to return and a BJP government is going to be formed," Shah said.
In Saja, campaigning for BJP candidate Ishwar Sahu, he said, "He is not merely a candidate. He is the symbol of our battle for justice. Communal bigots lynched Bhubaneswar Sahu, Ishwar Sahu's son, under the nose of the Bhupesh government. Bhupesh's men went to Sahu and offered him money and a job, asking him to drop his battle for justice, but he rejected the offers and said he wants justice for his dead son."
"It is our responsibility to get him justice. No one has the right to take the law into his hands. I want to tell Bhupesh Kaka, 'Today you have surrendered to communal forces for the sake of the vote bank. No one knows how many like Bhubaneswar Sahu were martyred but you never cared to give them justice. Your time ends here. Reverse counting begins,'" Shah said.
He accused the Congress government of ruining Durg division. "The Raman Singh government had transformed Durg division into a centre for learning but the Congress government turned it into a centre for betting. If they had to engage in betting, they could have done it in the name of Bhupesh Baghel. Why did they use the name of Mahadev," Shah said.
