Chhattisgarh Elections 2023CM Baghel accused BJP of "weaponizing" ED and income-tax department, and said that the central agencies are "contesting the election on behalf of BJP".
"ED is BJP, and BJP is ED," he said.
Baghel accused BJP of having ties with the gambling platform and questioned why no action had been taken against them. "This issue has been going on for so long. It's all over the media. EC should have taken suo motu cognizance, but will file a complaint," he said.
"The
Enforcement Directorate and income-tax agencies are openly supporting BJP in the election, which suggests that they have admitted defeat. It's easy to make allegations against me, and if that's the case, I also accuse BJP and ED of trying to protect the Mahadev Book online betting app. Why hasn't Union home minister Amit Shah taken any action against them? What kind of relationship does he have with them?" he said.
On Monday, Baghel said: "ED issues the press note and BJP shows the video. They have such good relations. It's clear central agencies are actively participating in BJP's election campaign."
