Pata, Silajit, Gabu, Anindya Bose and Upal Sengupta were caught training at the Mohun Bagan and East Bengal football clubs on Wednesday afternoon. "We are set to play a fundraiser — Ghoti vs Bangal for India footballer, Kusumita Das, who underwent a knee surgery and is in need of money", said Ghoti team member Arindam.
The match, which has been named the Chinglish Premiere League, (Chinglish = Chingri + Ilish), will be played tomorrow at the East Bengal football ground. The match will see Silajit, Anupam, Upal, Babul Supriyo, Shoojit Sircar, Pota, Jisshu Sengupta and many more. While some of them have been playing football regularly, most of them will be putting on the boots after a long hiatus.
