Abbas-Mustan praise Dev

The actor had an interesting rendezvous with the directors while shooting for Challenge 2
Come Durga Puja and Tolly heartthrob Dev will be seen taking up a new challenge in Raja Chanda���s next, Challenge 2. Breaking away from his trademark romantic image, the actor will be seen playing a rough and tough cop in the latest Shree Venkatesh Films production.
The actor had a blast shooting the film���s title track ��� Challenge nibi na sala ��� in Mumbai recently. The teaser of the song goes on air from today on different music channels.
In fact, much to Dev���s delight, director duo Abbas-Mustan came down on the sets when the song was being canned. Dev, who used to assist the duo early in his career, shares, ���They were shooting close to our floors, so I decided to meet them and invite them over. I was surprised to learn that they keep track of all the Bengali releases ��� about Tollywood actors and directors and boxoffice collections. They even knew about my current projects! They were overwhelmed to see the promos of Challenge 2 and congratulated me. ���The promos look better than any Bollywood film���, they said.���
He adds, ���Abbas-Mustanji praised my performance and said I look ���wow��� in the teasers.���
Ever since, the actor can���t stop raving about the title track. ���I haven���t shot a song like this till date ��� it is just so grand and opulent with fire blasts. There is more of attitude and less of dance moves in this number. We also shot the song in the rains on Marine Drive. For three days, from 6 am till midnight, we canned the title track. I hope the audience appreciates our hard work,��� smiles Dev.
Speaking about the film, an equally excited Chanda says, ���It is always encouraging when other directors appreciate your work. Abbas-Mustanji liked the promos of Challenge 2 and the whole set-up of the film���s title track. They said this movie is on a par with any Bollywood film if not more. What more can you ask for? I feel elated to say the least.���
