Rahul Banerjee has learned a lot during the pandemic as he had to shoot television episodes with his phone, among other things. “During that time I learned a lot and also started working on my script and completed it. So 2021 has arrived with new hope for me. I'll invest all I know into my film,” he said.
Though in January 2020, Rahul had decided to opt for filmmaking, that didn’t happen for a number of reasons. The pandemic was one of the biggest reasons. “But this year is probably the most anticipated one in the decade and it is all about hope and a new beginning. I am sure I will also be able to do something new,” he said.

Ritwick Chakraborty will play one of the leads in the film while Rahul himself will be seen in a pivotal role.
Meanwhile, Rahul will soon be seen in a psychological thriller ‘Chokh’. Directed by debutant Bappa, the cast also includes
Anindya Banerjee. The story follows a professor Robert (Rahul Banerjee) who suffers from a personality disorder while struggling to get hold of his crisis. Meanwhile, a series of deaths rock the city and Robert gets involved in it. What happens next forms the crux of the story
