An Indo-Bangladesh short film to help daily wage workers of the industry

To facilitate the fundraising Initiative to support the daily wages worker of Bangladesh film industry and Tollywood a short film titled ‘Dure Thaka Kacher Manush’ has been made. None of the actors, technicians, director, writers have taken any remuneration for this short film. It features Vikram Chatterjee as Dipto and Rafiath Rashid Mithila as Shaon Bonya Parveen.
In the aftermath of the global pandemic of COVID-19, this story is of a man reliving his past relations during a 14 days home quarantine after returning to Kolkata from London.
The story starts when Dipto comes to Kolkata from London a month ago. He is researching on viruses and bacteria. When the whole world is infected with viruses, he suddenly discovers his lost love Bonya. She is a journalist in Dhaka city, also known as a singer. After fourteen years the two of them get a chance to talk. What happens next? For that you have to watch ‘Dure Thaka Kacher Manush’.

Jointly produced by TVwala Media and Prekkhagreeho Visual Factory production, the short film has been directed by Shaherear Polock while the story is by Abhra Chakraborty. Mustafi Shimul is the assistant director.
