Anindya Chattopadhyay’s next film ‘Prem Tame’ includes three budding actors Sushmita, Sweta and
Soumya Mukherjee in the lead.
Penned by Anindya himself, the story follows Pablo, a small-town college student, who was suspended from college after an incident. It is a tale of self-searching. It involves one relationship with a girl and another unusual relationship resulting in unconditional love.
Now, the film's dubbing has also been wrapped up while shooting was completed before the lockdown started. The dubbing session took place at a south Kolkata studio and it resumed right after the lockdown was relaxed. Now, only a few post production works are pending.
“It is a contemporary love story set in the suburbs. We have already started shooting from February 17 at Sreerampore, Chandernagar and some other places. The three actors are fresh and I am looking forward to working with them. The two actors hail from theatre background while one is from modeling background. Music of this film is by
Shantanu Moitra.
Anupam Roy and Prosen are also part of the project,” revealed Anindya.
Anindya last directed a rom-com ‘Projapoti Biskut (2017) starring Ishaa Saha and Aditya Sengupta in the lead. Projapoti in Bengali symbolizes love, marriage and togetherness and 'Biskut' has the crispness and these combine the story.
