It’s a road film that chronicles the very emotional journey of a girl migrating from West Bengal to Kerala.”
Anusha plays Saugata, a 24-year-old Bengali girl from a rural background, in the film. Giving us an insight into the character, she said, “Sougata migrates to Kerala for a job opportunity that will allow her to pay for her ailing sister’s treatment. Thereafter, she travels all over the state as certain events in her life unfold. She also goes through a complete rollercoaster emotional ride. It’s doubly exciting that I get to explore a whole different culture, through my character’s eyes.”
Anusha will start shooting for the film around mid-September. “The schedule is around 36 days divided into three phases. We will be shooting all over Kerala. The third leg of the film will be shot in West Bengal,” the young actress shared, signing off.
