Anusha Viswanathan on her next big leap

Anusha Viswanathan, who received accolades for playing the love interest of Rwitobroto Mukherjee in Mainak Bhowmik’s ‘Goyenda Junior’ is super excited about her next big break as it will be her debut in Malayalam film industry.
The young actress who stepped into Tollywood with ‘Durga Sohay’ and then did a decent job in ‘Dhananjoy’ will play the female lead in Idi Mazha Kattu (‘Thunder, Rain, Wind) being directed by Ambili S Rengan.
Speaking about her big break, Anusha shared some sneak peeks into her character in the film, “I’m so excited to work in a new film industry, especially one about which I’ve heard so many good things. It’s basically a road film that follows a very emotional journey of a girl migrating from West Bengal to Kerala.”
Anusha’s character is Saugata, a 24-year-old Bengali girl from a rural background. “Sougata migrates to Kerala for a job opportunity that will allow her to pay for her ailing sister’s treatment. Thereafter, she travels all over the state as certain events in her life unfold. She also goes through a complete rollercoaster emotional ride. It’s doubly exciting that I get to explore a whole different culture, through my character’s eyes,” said the talented actress who has already started shooting for the film.
