Arpita Chatterjee elated to win Bengal Youth Award 2018

Arpita Chatterjee has always been regarded as one of Tollywood’s finest actors. She has many awards in her kitty already and now a new feather has been added to Arpita’s crown. The beautiful wife of Prosenjit Chatterjee has won the Bengal Youth Award 2018 for her brilliant acting in ‘Shab’ which marked her debut in Bollywood.
Arpita is elated to receive the prestigious award. She took to Twitter to share the good news with her fans.“Delighted to receive #BengalYouthAward2018 for my Bollywood debut @ShabTheFilm. Thank you Bengal Youth Association for the honor,” she wrote.

‘Shab’ directed by talented filmmaker Onir was released last year and Arpita’s brave experiment with her look received rave reviews. The Bengali actress was seen as Raina who loves to lead a dual life - a doting elder sister and a depressed lady whose past doesn’t let her go.
Up next for Arpita is Arjun Dutta’s family drama ‘Abyakto’ which is a poignant tale of a mother and son.
