Bharat Dev Varma, Moon Moon Sen's husband passes away at 83

Bharat Dev Varma, Moon Moon Sen's husband and Raima and Riya Sen's father, passed away this morning, November 19. According to reports, Dev Varma died at his residence at the age of 83 following a stroke. An ambulance was dispatched from a private hospital in Dhakuria to transport him due to his deteriorating health; however, he succumbed before medical assistance could reach him. Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee shared her condolences on X. Dev Varma belonged to the royal family of Tripura. His mother, Ila Devi, was a princess of Cooch Behar and the elder sister of Gayatri Devi, the Maharani of Jaipur. According to sources, Moon Moon Sen and Raima Sen were in Delhi and arrived in Kolkata upon hearing the news.
