Bollywood stunt director hired for Mainak’s upcoming thriller

After a series of films with love, humour and satirical overtones in ‘Bibaho Diaries’, Ghare And Baire’, ‘Happy Pill’ and the latest ‘Generation Aami’, filmmaker Mainak Bhaumik will make his mark in a completely new genre. Mainak’s upcoming is a thriller titled ‘Borno Parichay’ and what’s more interesting is it stars two of the most sought after Bengali actors Jisshu Sengupta and Abir Chatterjee in the lead, while Priyanka Sarkar plays the female lead.
This thriller, produced by SVF, will be full of action stunts; that’s what the talented filmmaker has assured: “I can’t always make same type of films. I used to complete my shooting in and around Dover Lane in my early films. But for this one I had to travel even Titagarh. It has plenty of action along with some intriguing blast and chase sequences.”
To handle the stunt sequences, a famous Bollywood stunt director Sunil Rodrigues has been hired who directed a lot of action stunts in films starring Shah Rukh Khan. He has been a key part of ‘Zero’, ‘Kedarnath’, ‘Pari’, ‘Mukkabaaz’ and many other Bollywood films.
