Playing a Bihari for the first time, Abir Chatterjee is leaving no stones unturned to get his character of Dinesh Yadav right.
Joydeep Mukherjee's film Aagun revolves around the sagas of Benoy-Badal-Dinesh contextualized in the modern day. "My character, Dinesh Yadav lands in Kolkata from Bihar and starts working for someone called Mataji. It is evident from the beginning that all kinds of illegal activities are carried out by Mataji and group.

But as the story progresses, Dinesh meets Masterda, who changes his way of life."
When asked about what preparations he is undergoing to play the role of a Bihari, for the first time, Abir said, "I talked to Joydeepda about this and we have decided to sit for a workshop this week to get the accent and body language right. Most probably Joydeepda will be bringing someone with expertise in this area, who will also accompany us on the sets for the first few days."
Aagun also stars Indrasish Roy, GauravChakrabarty, SayaniGhosh, TanusreeChakraborty,ParnoMittra and RidhimaGhosh. SabyasachiChakrabarty, who was in talks for the role of MasterdaSurya Sen, has been finalized and Aagunwill mark the first time that father-son duo Sabyasachi and Gauravwill be seen together in a movie.
The film is set to go on floors on the 9th of this month and Abir will start shooting from the 16th.
