Dance to end Kolkata Film Festival

Sudarshan Chakravorty is supposed to choreograph a special dance programme for the concluding ceremony of the Kolkata Film Festival.
Though the choreographer is unwilling to speak about the programme, sources say that this is the first time that KFF will hold a special dance show. Says a source, ���������The theme for the show is contribution of Bengal in Indian cinema.From songs of KL Saigal, Kanan Devi, Pramathesh Baruah, Devaki Basu to that of Hemant Kumar, Tapan Sinha, Ashok Kumar and Uttam Kumar will feature in this segment. The Nandan stage is being extended to host this show. The 40-minute-long programme will be a combination songs and visual montages. It will be showcased just before the screening of the closing film of the festival.��������� Apart from members of Sapphire, Tollywood actors will also be participating in the show. Adds the source, ���������The names being thrown up include that of Arpita, Srabanti, Monami and Debleena, among others.���������
