Aniket Chattopadhyay’s upcoming film ‘Kabir’ starring Dev and Rukmini Maitra was making news for all the right reasons. However, film’s certification is now creating a stir on social media.

To the director’s utter shock, ‘Kabir’ has received an ‘A’ certificate from the Censor Board. Interestingly, this is first ‘A’ rated movie of the actor. Dev had reportedly said that everyone can watch the film, despite the censor board’s categorisation. But as a producer, Dev is committed to releasing the film on the scheduled date.

The actor has time and again made it clear that the film does not promote terrorism but deals with the system and psychological aspects which an extremist can go through. ‘Kabir’ is slated to release on April 13 ahead of the Bengali New Year.
