Dolon Roy and Dipankar De register their marriage

On Thursday, actors Dolon Roy and Dipankar De had their

registry

marriage after being married for the past 24 years. “We got married in America 24 years back, but somehow the registry didn’t happen that time. So, we decided to do it now. Only Tito’s (Dipankar) childhood friends were present other than Bratya Basu, Soumitra Mitra and his family. It was a private affair where we didn’t want any media. Only close friends and family members were present,” said Dolon, who is at present acting in three mega serials. The menu for the ceremony was Bengali — from koraisutir kochuri and pulao to chicken kosha, to name a few.

“I am part of three megaserials — Alo Chaya, Kone Bou and Ono Josodha. So, my schedule is hectic,” said the actress. Where are they going to celebrate their registry, we asked her. “We will, in the near future. But not now, as I have a very tight schedule,” said the actress.
