In her quest, she meets Debdutta Burman (Subrat Dutta), the son of the soil. Despite being a popular singer, Debdutta gets involved in this movement. As per the instruction of his leader Shimul Das (Rajesh Sharma) he tries to get close to Snata to use her in favour of their movement. But Debdutta eventually realises this movement is misleading the young generation and tries to convince Das, but it is too late. What happens next forms the crux of the film.
