Filmmaker Samik Roy Choudhury is all set for his acting debut in the upcoming psychological drama ‘Asampurna’. The film is being directed by Amartya Sinha. ‘

’ is based on a nuclear family of a husband, wife and a five-year-old daughter and the narrative has many layers along with spine-tingling twists and turns. Shreya Bhattacharya is playing the female lead in the film.

National award-winner Pradipta Bhattacharya is editing the movie. ‘Asampurna’ is the brainchild of Amartya Sinha and his wife Minakshi Sharma as they nurtured this project with their pure dedication.

Meanwhile, as a director Samik has two films in the pipeline, Paran Bandopadhyay starrer ‘Beline’ and a murder mystery ‘Mushroom’.
