“I am back in front of the camera after five years.

I remember shooting Alifaa in 2015-2016. I am very happy. It feels like I am back to where I belong. I am looking forward to working with a good script and young director Indira has offered me a unique character. She is from the city’s Goan Christian community. It is also a challenging one, as I will be portraying a character much older to me. I have done the look test and now I am keen to work in the film,” Jaya said.
The film also features Sheheb Chatterjee, Kinjal Dutta, Aparajita Ghosh and Aarav Ghosh (Jaya and Bickram Ghosh’s son).
Revealing Jaya's look, writer-director Indira said, “The Green Window is a research work of 20 years. It is an adaptation of a story I wrote. I feel the film will inspire many senior citizens to look at the brighter side of life. Georgy’s character is strong, practical and emotional. Mothers are always special. They are the ones who always support us in the best way possible. The Green Window is a tribute to all mothers of the world.”
While Bickram composed the music and background score, Rinngo will be the DoP and Arghyakamal Mitra will work as the editor of the film.
