Guess what’s making director Ram Kamal Mukherjee excited!

Journalist turned director Ram Kamal Mukherjee is on cloud nine and why not! His first directorial, a 27 minute short length feature film ‘Cakewalk’ is all set to release. Starring Esha Deol Takhtani in the lead, the short film will see its world premiere on February 17. Produced by Assorted Motion Pictures and SS1 Entertainment, the film also stars Tarun Malhotra, Anindita Bose and Siddhartha Chatterjee in key roles. Giving a sneak peek into what the film is all about, an excited Ram Kamal Mukherjee said: “This is India's first short length feature film that will have a world wide release on satellite. Earlier many channels did telefilms, which didn't require censor clearance or certificate. People get confused with telefilm and feature film. This is something new that we experimented and finally got a global platform to showcase our film.” "I had full faith in Ram Kamal when I signed for the film and knew that he would give his all to make this remarkable,” said Esha Deol Takhtani who plays the lead protagonist, chef Shilpa Sen in the movie. ‘Cakewalk’ revolves around the professional and personal challenges faced by a chef in her life. It's a slice of life story which has been beautifully portrayed by Esha Deol.
