“A ‘thank you’ on social media is not enough for you all , but at times , I feel immensely privileged and proud to have friends like you guys which churns a sudden whirlpool of emotions inside me and prompts me to write few words . We don’t have a bonding where I’m going to express my gratitude to all of you but again we do have a bonding where I can express my unabashed happiness . A dream
I have been living for five years came true because of you all . We are absolutely new in the field of filmmaking ,but I can say this for a fact that I have rarely seen people who are this equipped and balanced , both aesthetically and technically , from serving tea to correcting the script , you guys became every single department involved in making a film without questioning twice, yet questioning the ‘necessary’. Thank you for putting up with the madness and constant changes , all I saw and learnt from you guys in this extremely challenging schedule was how to ‘smile and say a yes ‘ even in the worst of times , something I could have never done , We are left with a whole lot of work , just one chapter is over , but before we begin again , thank you for not letting me lose myself , love you ,” wrote Riddhi.

Based on Nabarun Bhattacharya’s short story, the film features Riddhi’s father Kaushik Sen and Somak Ghosh in pivotal roles. His mother Reshmi Sen will be seen in a cameo. “I read the short story when I was very young and wanted to work on it. In 2017, my maternal grandfather passed away and it was my first visit to a crematorium. My life changed after that and it was that moment when I was absolutely sure about making this film,” Riddhi said while speaking about his short film.
