‘Hobu Chandra Raja Gobu Chandra Mantri’ motion poster out now
After teasing the fans over the past few months here comes the exciting motion poster of ‘Hobu Chandra Raja Gobu Chandra Mantri’. What’s more interesting is the lead cast has also been confirmed in the video.
Directed by Aniket Chattopadhyay, the fairytale drama features Saswata Chatterjee as the king of Bombagarh, Kharaj Mukherjee plays his minister and Arpita Chatterjee as queen Kushumkali. The male leads were confirmed long before but who will play the female lead was at the center of all speculations.

Based on Dakhinaranjan Mitra Majumdar's two famous stories ‘Hobu Chandra Raja’ and ‘Sarkarer Chhele’, the children film will be bankrolled by Dev's home production. The film has started rolling from today.
When Dev and director Aniket Chatterjee promised to create magic during the announcement of ‘Hobu Chandra Raja Gobu Chandra Mantri’, it doubled the excitement for the fans and why not? Dev and Rukmini were supposed to play the lead. But then Dev decided to cast someone else as the male lead, a king, due to his conflicting schedule.
However, Rukmini was supposed to play the queen as announced before and seasoned actor Kharaj Mukherjee was roped in to essay the mantri’s role. But later, Rukmini also backed out from the project.
