Actress Indrani Dutta, who turned a year older on April 6, thanked everyone for their birthday wishes. The actress said even though she was thankful to everyone, she is going through a deep personal crisis. In a long post on Facebook, she wrote that her father is ailing and that it’s a ‘morbid’ time for the family. Indrani took to Facebook to write: “A big thank you to everyone for all the birthday wishes, love and blessings.

Quite a morbid time for me and my family as my father has taken to various severe illnesses and has been fighting for his life for the past month lying on a hospital bed. Thus, instead of throwing a party like every year,my daughter and I decided to spend some quality time together which has left both of us feeling quite light. I apologise if I haven’t been able to reply to everyone’s wishes separately but your wishes mean a great deal to me. Thank you all, lots of love.” The actress, who spent time with her father, along with daughter Rajnandini said it made her feel “light”. On the workfront, Indrani recently completed the shoot of Belashuru, where she plays the wife of actor Shankar Chakraborty, the elder son of Soumitra Chatterjee and Swatilekha Sengupta’s characters in the film. Rajnandini, on the other hand, was seen in two important films last year. She made her debut with Avishek Saha’s Uronchandi and also turned heads in Srijit Mukherji’s much-talked about Puja release, Ek Je Chhilo Raja.
